Where to read?

Finding the right place to read can be tricky. During the day, if the weather is not nice, I have in the past tended to gravitate towards the sofa. The fundamental problem for me with reading on the sofa is the gradual move from vertical to horizontal – the snooze is inevitable. I have been very lucky to be able to treat myself to a ‘reading chair’ which is both comfy and (to an extent) is a snooze deterrent as I am less likely to lay down.

Afternoon treat for me today, time snuggled up with The London Eye Mystery  by Siobhan Dowd. Perfect.

My room at my dads house is split in two, one half is my room, and the other half is a library. On the library side I have 6 bookshelfs, and a sofa bed – that’s where I usually read or fall asleep when I’m reading. I usually fall asleep with a book in my hand… Because I sleep walk I usually loose my page, that’s veeeerrryy annoying…..

P.S I have the same cushion and blanket on my sofa bed as you have on your ‘reading chair’ !

  3. I can also struggle to find the right place to read, but in my bedroom I have this really comfy beanbag, with lots of cushions and this really soft blanket. I’ve read the other comments and Ella says she has a little library in her bedroom, I like the thought of having a library in your BEDROOM! its so cool

That sounds like a good plan for a Friday night! I’m more of a chocolate fan as you know, so maybe I’d sub the marshmallows in for some magic stars 🍫
I miss you all too. I hope you’re keeping up with your growth mindsets!

It is pretty cool having a library in my bedroom. That’s at my dads house tho so I can’t always sit in it since you know.. I don’t live with him.. Anyways, I also tend to sit In front of the radiation in my hallway – I just like that specific radiator.

Yep I agree with the magic stars
