After taking back some library books, I couldn’t help but have a nose around for my next reads. I saw another Anthony Horowitz book in the same series as the one I just read, so I had to pick it up. There were more ancient takes from: Greece, Cheyenne Indian, English and Celtic culture. Some of these traditional stories had mythical beasts/creatures that I had heard of, but didn’t know much about. For example, the Sphinx and a Banshee. For me this was a pretty quick read – I really like the ‘bite size’ stories which were perfect for this sleepy Sunday afternoon.
