I recommend the diary of a horse mad girl series by Katrina Kahler.
I really enjoyed this series of books, Katrina Kahler is a great author. This book might not appeal to everyone because it’s about horses and they might not be everyone’s favourite animal. I’ve owned horses and ridden them for 7 years so this book definitely jumped out to me on the bookshelf.
There are 3 books in the series and even though they’re quite short, with only about 200 pages, they’re very enjoyable. They’re about this girl called Abbie who owns lots of different horses and competes in gymkhanas ( I competed in one recently and one 3 blue ribbons, so proud of myself) and goes to pony club. But just to make matters worse She falls out with her friends and her horse gets colic (a really, really bad Disease that one of my horses had to get put down because of it)
I, Personaly found this book a real page turner and because everything in it is to do with horses, I flicked through the whole series in a couple of days. I’ve been competing in dressage, Show jumping and cross country for around 4 years now, so I understand all the vocab but for someone who isn’t such a horse mad person, this may not be the book for you. However, it’s always worth a try because it’s AMAZING!!!

It looks like a very deep book. If you know what I mean. Just the name makes you stop.
