Christopher Mouse by William Wise

Thank you to Sophie who recommended this delightful little book. I normally choose the action/adventure books and generally I’m not that into cutesy animal books, but this really was something special.

It’s all about a white mouse named Christopher who is swept from place to place, having a range of different owners. The kindhearted and sensitive little mouse expresses some of his struggles and emotions in poetry which is adorable.

I understand why Sophie returns to it, a comfort read to take you on a mini mouse adventure! Thank you again. It was lovely to bump into you today at the park. I’m just sorry I couldn’t stay and chat as my sister can be a bit of a handful and when she wants to go, she wants to go! I hope you enjoy the rest of your half term!

I’m really glad I bumped into you too. It was nice to see you, even if it was for about five minutes. I’m so glad I decided to go to the park yesterday and not another day. I’m also very glad that you enjoyed Christopher Mouse. I hope you have a lovely half term.
